They all did it...

First of all, thank you so much for your adorable comments. And thank you for your poem recommendations. I ended up using a Norwegian one at the party, but while reading all these beautiful poems I got an idea. From now on I will use a poem in my posts, and I will of course pic poems that I think are lovely. This day's poem is one by E.E Cummings.

I think this poem is fantastic Carry your heart with me; I carry it in
my heart; I am never without it anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling
I fear no fate. For you are my fate;my sweet I want
no world for beautiful you are my world,my true
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart;I carry it in my heart

Yes, I have been busy. I intend to keep being busy the next two weeks. It's just too much going on. This week has been a good mixture of : Homework. Sleep. Hercule Poirot. Dinner with friends. Student Council. Laugh.Physics. Tea.Norwegian. Agatha Christie. Café with a friend. Thinking. Jazz. Turkish Delight. Snow. Honey. Skating. Cry. Jane Austen. Midsomer Murders. French. Coffee Dreaming. Falling on the ice outside. Italian. Poems. Beautiful poems. Birthday party. Cake. A lot of cake.

I like the bathtub photo-there is something so fun about reading in the bath. Also, much to my embarassment I fell over on the ice and made a complete ass out of myself in front of everyone who lives on my street :( unfun.
By the way , Aldi is a german supermarket, that is near my home.
Hope

<3ely poem-it conjures up so many beautiful colours in my head, and I love that minty green 3rd picture!

Unfortunately my blouse no longer fits, I think it's for a 10 year old, although I did try to get it on, which was quite painful! I'm on a search for a similar one in a perfect size.

Have a lovely weekend...

Actually, I bought it from topshop! It was in the sale bit in my local one though, so I'm not sure if they'll be in other topshops at the moment. I took a quick peek at topshop.com but I couldn't see it there... I hope you find one though. & thankyou! I'm pleased you liked it

Such a pretty poem! I always like reading new ones in people's blogs--it means more with a context like that.
P.S. I do really like War and Peace, it's an epic though, around 4 hrs in length.

I simply adore E.E. Cummings! Lovely post, my dear, I'm glad someone enjoys being busy. I, for one, am ready for a break.

ee cummings is undeniably one of the most exquisite poets. hmm, i will be indulging in some birthday cake as well. hopefully upside down pineapple cake. yum. the weeks seem to pass by with a blanket of a cycle of sleep, school, coursework, conditioning. but i guess you just have to roll with the punches. have a good week!
