all dressed in love

Hannah MacGibbon is one of my favourite designers. After she took over the as designer for Chloé, I've started loving the fashion house even more. Her feminine, humoristic and delicate clothes make me want to fill my closet with all of it. She has the capability of mixing elegance and playfulness. Just my style.

"Not much has been written about Chloé's latest designer, the first woman to try her hand at the label associated with budding feminine exuberance since Phoebe Philo exited in 2006. But Hannah MacGibbon, it turns out, worked for five years behind the scenes at Chloé, designing under Philo's direction and later consulting on Chloé's signature perfume.

MacGibbon, age 37, is a Central Saint Martins grad who had honed her skills as an assistant director at Valentino before becoming part of the creative team that made Chloé hotter than ever in the Philo years. Rumor says that MacGibbon turned down the gig the first time she was asked. Now she must show that she's ready to take the reins.

If Philo's success as an assistant-turned-boss—she herself worked under her predecessor, Stella McCartney—can be taken as any indication of MacGibbon's future, things are looking up for the label and its legion of fans."

Jag visste inte att jag hade en American dream men varför inte... :-D

Oh, I've seen it, it's wonderful.
Dita is incredible though, so I wouldn't have expected any less.

And I love all the ruffles in that collection.
I'm such a sucker for ruffles.

Ahhh, I know. Chloe has been epic lately. I really want to save up for some See by Chloe stuff, but even that's pretty expensive.

Oh you know, I don't pay much attention to designers, usually, as it's not as if I can afford any of their clothes...but I must say, if there's any collection I do enjoy seeing, it's Chloé! :)

Thanks for your sweet comment, by the way! <3
