déjà vu

I always get a strange feeling when something happens which I know have happened before. Or more precisely, I feel that it has happened before. It feels like I know what will happen, who people are and what they will say. It's just too awkward. My stomach twists and my head feels dizzy. It's not comfortable at all.

This picture gave me a similar feeling. I've seen it before. I sat a while trying to figure out where, and suddenly I found out. In Paris there are people like that everywhere sitting at these small cafés. However, I love this picture. The woman has wonderful style, and her clothes make a interesting contrast to the old furniture.

Tomorrow it's the 17th of May, our national day. Here in Oslo the streets are filled with children yelling "hurray" and almost every woman wears our national costume. It's the same procedure as every year. I get a bit déjà vu during that day as well.

I got a tag from H.Rose. Here it comes.

The rules:

1. respond and rework: answer the questions on your blog, replace one question that you dislike with a question of your own invention, add one more question of your own.

2. tag eight other people.

Hello Lovely.
I do know what you mean about that sense of deja vu. And I hate it when you just can't quite figure out where you've seen or heard something before. In fact, it happened to me the other day. Weird.

And I think I shall take this tag.

Servus!

Love that cafe photo, too. It is such a familiar site, but her outfit makes it special.

ah yay! you did the tag, your anwers were so lovely. I sort of want to learn latin too, like all the ancient languages. there is this passion in me to learn ancient greek, even though it is completely useless in any field other than academia. but, there you have it, haha. :)

hope your exam and your national holiday goes fabulously!

Your tags are freakily like my own life. I am listening to The Wobats "Lets dance to Joy Division right now, and as for wayfarers and ben and jerrys...well they are just perfect. I love the paris cafe culture and would love to see it myslef, I have so many romantic notions of quiant women sitting around absorbed in books, meeting young boys wearing hats and drinking expresso or white wine.
