free as a bird

I already have plans for the 14th of November 2009. At 5am I'm going to stand outside a H&M and wait until the doors open. That day Jimmy Choo's collection for H&M arrives in stores all over the world. I can't wait! The shoes are the main articles in the collection, but it will as well contain other accessories such as belts and purses.
My life is back! It's summer holiday, and I have no exams, home work or stress until the 20th of August. I feel free as a bird. But, it's raining! That's like the worst start of the summer! If this is how it will be the rest of it, poor me... No chance to get a tan. Tanning booth, here I come!
Some of you may know that I have a major crush on NYC. The photographer Ralf Uicker is extremely talented, and his pics from NY are amazing. He is very down to earth kinda guy, actually he has his own flickr page. There he posts his old and new pics. One of the albums is called "New York in the eighties". The album contains a lot of black and white photographs. They seem so old, due to the colours, but the pics shows a modern and urban city. He takes photos from many great cities in the world, like Paris, Venice and Istanbul. here is his site on flickr: ralf uicker

Great photos -- but miserable weather! I want to stay in bed all day.

I find it much cooler to stay pale :) :)

BUT - where the heck is summer already? It's about 12 degrees C. in Sweden :-( :-( and it's been that way for weeks. Bleh!

Hey - do you celebrate midsummer as well? We do tomorrow.

Nothing beats old city photos, because even if they are only from last week, the scene will still look different today from the shot. Beautiful busy cities

Ans I have to agree with Maria - pale rules

I just heard about that collection. It sounds epic! I hope the quality is nice and the prices aren't too steap.

Happy summer! It feels so nice, doesn't it?
