vixen vixen fox fox

Oslo has got a new magazine, AND it's free. Finally Norwegians are able to produce a young, urban and creative magazine. Vixen is my new love. I guess it's quite similar to Nylon.
I believe I'm the happiest person on the earth right now. My final exams are done, and I have a place to stay in Edinburgh. My plan on selling myself on Ebay didn't work out after all... I'm thinking of taking a day in Glasgow as well. American Apparel and Urban Outfitters have stores there, and I have a feeling that Glasgow is a bit more urban city. If someone knows about good places to party, eat or shop in both Edinburgh and Glasgow, be free to tell me. I'm in desperately need for some tips.
i may have gone a bit crazy with the Polaroid making, i'm sorry.

oo fun shots

I've been to both Edinburgh & Glasgow a few years ago and loved each for different reasons. visually Glasgow looks more industrial, and Edinburgh more steeped in history, but they equally have their own awesome life styles

edinburgh is really, really gorgeous, i am so jealous that you are going it's one of my most favourite places in the world. Very serene and calm, and extremely beautiful. One of the only places that you can look on one window and see a castle, and look out another and see a huge mountain.. Ahhh i want to go back! I love it there so so so incredibly much!

Things to do, well in terms of sight-seeing you have to go to the castle, it's amazing there. There's also a restaurant near there called 'The Witchery' which is absolutely fabulous, although a bit expensive, but if you feel like splurging then you have to eat there. There's also loads of great shops along the Royal Mile, which is a long road leading up the castle that is still cobble-stone pavements, it's so lovely. You should start at the castle and walk down, much more manageable haha. There's fudge shops and vintage clothing shops and all sorts of nice stuff. And it's a nice walk too.

In terms of shopping i think Glasgow is a bit better, you're right, more urban. There is a really good Topshop in Edinburgh, if memory serves me correctly, and a nice-sized Harvey Nichols, which is good for window shopping. They have a great food court up the top which is good for tea and coffee after a big day of shopping.

ah i haven't been there in ages so sorry if i'm not much help! you are going to have the best time! congratulations also on finishing your exams. I have two weeks until mine, wish me luck!

OH, nice mag! And take me with you to Edinburgh? I'll spring for the over-the-weight-limit suitcase fee if you stow me away.

I think Prince's Street is the name of the main shopping street, I@m not sure on that but you should find loads of little stores on your way! You have to visit the castle, it's supposed to be amazing, you should do an open bus tour and get all your sightseeing done in like half a day! Are you going to Edinburgh for the festival?? It's supposed to have a brilliant nightlife, enjoy!! Oh well done on finishing your exams too, finals are hard work, I know :) :)
