a star is born

when i wake up every morning, i do it with a smile. every morning is a new day, and each time i am a step nearer to christmas. it's delightful. the past few days i've: spent with my dear frank sinatra, eaten apples and christmas cookies, make christmas presents, done some home work, giggled a lot, watching the holiday, love actually and gossip girl and just enjoyed my self and the fact that it's soon christmas. my friend, who now are in maryland, got my calendar just before the 1st, and that make me happy.

i went to a christmas marked yesterday and bought some sweet little gifts for my self. i know i shouldn't have done it, but i couldn't resist the beauty of vintage earrings, wallets and bags - and for just 10$ i got two wallets, one bag and some sweet earrings.

and the dear mother svea have a give away on her blog.
she makes beautiful pictures, and gives one of them to a lucky winner for christmas. if you're interested, check out her blog, but do it before the 4th of december.
and again, i can't say it enough - you are lovely
xx

Love your blog - so pretty and soothing, a new fav for me!

I have to say I am quite jealous of you, I am yearning to get into the Xmas spirit, even though I say that every year. But now December 2 is here and I have no excuse at all. I need to put on my Xmas Sinatra CD too, eat ginger cookies (ignore the calories, somehow) and start wrapping. Thanks for giving me a little push - I don't want to regret not getting into the spirit THIS year!

PS- just noticed you are from Norway. I'm half Norwegian and half Finnish, my father's half coming from Trondheim/Todalen. This officially makes you cool in my books :P

oh that star is so cute! i've been watching the same things as you actually, like the holiday and gossip girl (i just did a post on gossip girl, it was tres long, but such fun to write) eating gingerbread and listening to christmas carols. i just love the lead up to christmas, but because my bday is the day before christmas it is always a bit of a stressful time for me haha.

i love the earrings, they are such a gorgeous gorgeous colour.

hope you are well lovely!

Those earrings, those earrings! Good Lord you are a lucky munchkin.
They are just the perfectest, are they stone? The colours are magical, the pink seeping into the pearly white...and that snkaeskin bag is rather lovely too, the silver clasp and edging is so pretty, delicate thing!
Oooo I can't wait til Christmas, I just wish it was how it used to be when I was 5 and I got so excited at the first mention of Christmas, I must do some Festive things!
