princess of hilltop farm

it's holiday. i'm free from school and work, or almost. i should do some homework, however it's not that funny. i most of all just want to read, watch movies, dream, talk, go walks in the woods, eat macarons, drink tea and cocoa. and that is exactly what i have been doing this past few days: the movie - Miss Potter surely is enchanting and oh, so lovely. it is wonderful. i've seen it many times, and it fascinates me every single time!

and i can't stop dreaming. dreaming of paris. my trip to paris in march. i'm thinking of it all the time. i've made a list of what i want to do and which places i need to visit. sometimes it strikes my head that, unfortunately, it's always a chance for the trip to be canceled... i hope not!

olivia at friends and lovers gave me this enchanted picture! it surely is lovely! thank you so much, dear!

again, i hope you all have a fantastic holiday!

xx

Miss Potter is a beautiful movie! And I see that you have been watching I Capture the Castle-- oh how I do love it.

I've completely forgotten about the Miss Potter film!! When I was little there was this ballet film with her animals dancing on tv around Christmas / New Year, every year. I used to think it was quite magical and would watch it with my aunt. She's tried to find it on video etc but it seems to have disappeared. Anyways, now you make me dream of Paris too :) Btw I'm adding a link to you.

I love your blog! It's incredibly pretty.

And now I must praise you on your excellent taste in films and literature ;)

I Capture The Castle, Love Actually, Miss Potter, Little Women, Holiday - My idea of Heaven!

I love Beatrix Potter's works. I even got a mug with little Peter Rabbits painted all over it for Christmas.

Oooh your first trip to Paris? It is a beautiful and enchanting city. I love it there. I love most of France though.

And wow, you live in Norway! I've always wanted to go, I have relatives there, in Oslo. The closest I've got so far is that I'm going to Finland in July :)

Have a fantastic New Year!

I also worry about that whole cancelling thing. But I don't think it can - I just think it might become more expensive.

yay! i spy i capture the castle in that pile of dvds... what an inspired movie choice! one of my favourites, if you hadn't already noticed hahaha... :) it is just so beautiful, and it is really my dream to live a bohemian life in a crumbling tower, whiling away the hours with thoughts of love and tea and english summers..

go eat a macaroon, drink tea, wear that paper crown and don't worry about school. you've earned this break my dear. happy new year! can't wait to see what 2009 brings.
